The tour begins by leaving the Chaussée Romaine, the only road linking Djerba to the mainland. We’ll take a short break before continuing on to the village of Guellala, renowned for its potters and their traditional wooden kilns. We’ll visit a workshop and museum of folk art and traditions to discover local know-how.

We then continue on to Erriadh to visit one of the oldest synagogues in the world, the GHRIBA. You’ll be able to discover Djerba’s Jewish history and culture in this spiritually-charged place.

Finally, we’ll arrive in Houmt Souk, the island’s capital. We’ll have the opportunity to visit the market, the covered souk and the fondouks, testimony to Djerba’s cultural richness. Enjoy some free time for shopping in the souks before returning to your hotel.
